Bartender

About This Role

Join the Food & Beverage team as a friendly and outgoing banquet bartender, preparing and serving alcoholic drinks, and providing excellent guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily set-up, stocking, tear-down, and maintain cleanliness and sanitization of the bar and/or restaurant
• Complete opening and closing shift duties, cashouts, and side work as assigned by Manager on Duty or Front of House supervisor
• Communicate constantly with the Manager regarding all supply needs
• Work with the Manager to promote drink specials, wine list, and beer selections
• Communicate maintenance and repair needs for the Front of House bar and/or dining room to ensure presentability and working order for guests
• Follow all state, local, federal, and Sunday River guidelines and laws on proper liquor service, pours, and service
• Inform guests of menu choices at other mountain restaurants, promote area activities, and answer general resort questions
• Operate the Front of House within the guidelines outlined in the Boyne Brand Standard Audit
• Provide assistance outside of the assigned outlet during times of high resort volume

Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to describe all items on the outlet's drink, wine, and food menus
• Ability to be on feet for majority of workday
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Previous bartending experience
• T.I.P.S. training
• 3 years' Front of House serving experience
