Bartender

About This Role

As a Bartender at Motek, you will deliver exceptional service and culinary experiences to guests, working with the bar team and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and consistency. You will craft signature cocktails and provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Become knowledgeable about dishes and cocktails to offer recommendations to guests
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests
• Maintain cleanliness in the bar area and restaurant
• Collaborate with barbacks to assist with bar preparation
• Restock and replenish bar items as needed
• Assist with stocking the bar, ensuring batches are always fresh, slicing garnishes
• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment by communicating effectively and supporting team members

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in a bartender role
• Basic understanding of food handling and safety practices
• Extensive liquor and wine knowledge
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a bartender role in a fast-paced restaurant

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Toast POS system
• Craft cocktail knowledge
