Bartender

About This Role

As a Bartender at iconic venues, you will mix and pour drinks, deliver exceptional guest service, and maintain high energy levels by being fast, friendly, and focused. Every shift is about delivering unforgettable experiences in a venue rich with musical history.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a sincere welcome and engage in friendly conversations to cultivate repeat business
• Follow recipes and established techniques to prepare drinks
• Operate satellite bars, pop-up bars, and mobile beverage carts during events as needed
• Accurately fulfill orders and assist guests, suggestively selling menu items, beverages, and desserts
• Proactively address guest needs, respond to concerns, and resolve issues with a professional, positive attitude
• Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance, alcohol awareness training, and company policies, requesting proper ID
• Operate POS terminals accurately, handle payments securely, and reconcile financials at the end of the shift
• Attend pre-shift meetings and perform defined opening/running/closing duties, including setting up and breaking down bar locations
• Maintain clean and orderly dining and service environments, bus bar top as needed, and follow sanitation procedures
• Assist with inventory, product rotation, and date labeling to ensure fresh products are available

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience
• POS and cash handling experience
• Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated team player and self-starter
• Able to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety-minded manner
• Able to work during peak times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous bartending experience required; high-volume bar experience preferred
