Bar Manager

About This Role

Manage all aspects of the assigned restaurant and bar operations, maintaining high standards of guest and employee satisfaction at Chatham Bars Inn, a Forbes Five-Star resort.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant and bar operations
• Manage all aspects of the assigned outlet
• Maintain a high standard of quality with regard to guest and employee satisfaction
• Meet objectives and standards set forth by CBI Service Standards (Leading Quality Assurance, Forbes, and AAA)
• Contribute to the achievement of F&B revenue goals
• Strive to increase F&B guest count and total revenue while maintaining quality of service
• Review staffing needs daily and weekly for efficient management of labor cost
• Ensure accountability for successful execution of all operating systems (requisitions, weekly and daily inventory)
• Ensure proper execution of all accounting functions (guest check procedures, comp and void procedures, event check posting)
• Weekly scheduling of all F&B outlets

Requirements

• 3+ years supervisory/management experience
• 2+ years dining room and/or bar management experience
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Superior customer service skills
• Basic computer skills
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years dining room and/or bar management
