About This Role

The Automotive Sales Associate is responsible for achieving sales goals by generating leads, closing sales, and providing excellent customer service in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by answering questions and helping customers select a vehicle that fits their needs
  • Maintain a prospect development system by following up with active prospects using the Dealership’s Customer Relationship Management System (CRM)
  • Follow up with previous customers for referrals and future sales
  • Attend all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
  • Work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors and demonstrate professionalism towards customers, co-workers, and the public at large
  • Demonstrate adherence to Company procedures
  • Maintain an acceptable attendance record
  • Work without constant supervision
  • Report to the Sales Manager or General Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer orientated attitude
  • Valid in-state driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent telephone skills and etiquette
  • Excellent computer skills sufficient to use Dealership CRM and email software
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Able to work a flexible schedule and varying hours, including morning, evening, weekend, and holiday work
