Join a dynamic legal team specializing in Commercial Real Estate Finance to advise clients on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development projects. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating loan documents for lenders financing commercial real estate transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and guidance on commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions and dispositions
• Draft, review, and negotiate loan and financing documents for lenders who are financing commercial real estate transactions
• Assist clients in navigating lending processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Conduct due diligence and prepare legal opinions related to real estate transactions
• Collaborate with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful real estate deals
• Stay updated on real estate laws and regulations to provide accurate legal counsel
• Manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in Illinois
• 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate lender-side experience
• Strong understanding of transactional law and real estate development processes
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
