Associate General Counsel

About This Role

Provide practical and ethical legal advice to commercial leaders, draft and negotiate crucial agreements for some of the largest global clients. Implement business strategies in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across various departments to ensure seamless deal execution.

Responsibilities

• Participate in deploying global corporate legal and regulatory policies and procedures
• Provide rapid, practical legal/commercial advice to business operations
• Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including confidentiality agreements
• Collaborate closely with internal legal and business teams to drive deal execution
• Support global legal initiatives and partner with functional leaders
• Engage actively in legal department meetings
• Handle other assignments from the General Counsel

Requirements

• Active Bar admission
• 5-6 years of business law experience
• Experience in structuring and negotiating complex transactions
• Familiarity with market research services and commercial contracts
• Ability to draft and negotiate agreements under time constraints
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills with sound judgment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• 5-6 years of business law experience, preferably in data licensing or market research
