About This Role

A Florida-based litigation firm specializing in insurance defense is seeking an Associate Attorney to conduct legal research, draft legal documents, attend hearings, and manage a diverse caseload. This role involves representing national and regional insurance carriers in various insurance-related litigation areas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to inform case strategy
• Draft motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents with precision
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations effectively representing clients
• Manage a diverse caseload while ensuring timely and accurate case progress
• Collaborate with clients and the legal team to develop comprehensive legal strategies
• Work with little supervision; prioritize and anticipate work needs; work well under occasional periods of pressure and short deadlines

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Good standing with the Florida Bar
• Experience in Commercial Litigation, Insurance Defense, and/or General Liability
• Exceptional communication skills
