Assistant Store Manager

About This Role

This role assists the Store Manager in driving sales, managing payroll, and ensuring effective team utilization while maintaining a positive customer experience. It involves overseeing merchandising, operational standards, and fostering a welcoming retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in motivating and inspiring team to achieve productivity goals
• Help analyze sales data and develop action plans to drive sales
• Manage payroll budgets to ensure store's contribution is on target
• Ensure individual and collective skills of the team are utilized effectively
• Assist Store Manager in recruiting and hiring appropriately to ensure full staffing
• Effectively manage store operations, ensuring consistency and compliance
• Exhibit exceptional customer service at all times
• Utilize effective interactivity to connect with customers, understanding their needs and wants
• Create an inviting environment for customers by maintaining a neat and clean store
• Plan, coordinate, and execute all Merchandising direction, replenishments, and sales promotions

Requirements

• Prior management retail experience (preferred)
• 1-2 Years Retail Experience required
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Flexible work schedule
• Able to engage and speak to customers
• Able to motivate team members
• Lead by example
• Computer skills

Qualifications

• 1-2 Years Retail Experience required. Prior management retail experience preferred.
