About This Role

Shoe Carnival is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, drive sales, and foster a customer-first environment, while also acting as a key holder for opening and closing duties.

Responsibilities

Open and close the store as a key holder
Support the General Manager in reaching sales goals
Lead customer service efforts and resolve issues professionally
Train and guide associates on processes and standards
Delegate daily tasks and coordinate breaks
Assist with visual merchandising and store presentation
Perform register overrides, safe/till counts, and cash reconciliation
Follow and promote loss prevention procedures

Requirements

Strong communication and leadership skills
Great customer service and a positive attitude
At least 2 years of retail or customer service experience
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, bend, reach, and work on your feet

Qualifications

At least 2 years of retail or customer service experience. Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
