This Assistant Store Manager role supports daily operations, maintains high cleanliness standards, and drives sales objectives for self-storage locations. The position focuses on building strong customer relationships and managing accounts.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying storage needs and providing tailored solutions
- Maximize sales objectives through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies
- Ensure high cleanliness standards are met through continuous maintenance of the site, office, and storage buildings
- Perform daily site safety inspections, including lock checks
- Address and resolve customer concerns related to billing, security, auctions, and proper site usage
- Handle cash transactions, balance receipts, follow up on delinquent payments, process customer payments, and complete daily bank deposits
- Protect company culture by establishing and maintaining professional relationships with all employees
Requirements
- 1+ year of customer-facing work experience
- Current valid driver’s license
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED is required; college education is a plus
- 1+ year of customer-facing work experience
