Assistant Store Manager

About This Role

Support the Store Manager in leading a team to deliver excellent customer experience and achieve sales results. Execute store operations and maintain visual merchandising standards to create a positive environment for associates and customers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to create action plans to achieve sales and grow the business
• Understand and demonstrate product knowledge, selling, and operational skills to maximize sales
• Engage with customers to build relationships and brand loyalty
• Partner with the Store Manager to develop team members focused on customer experience
• Oversee assigned division of responsibility and be accountable for results
• Support the Store Manager in ensuring store merchandising and operational standards are met
• Learn about all aspects of the business and share ideas to drive growth
• Perform POS transactions and execute management functions in the absence of the Store Manager
• Model company values of respect, integrity, teamwork, compassion, accountability, and inclusivity

Requirements

• Flexible availability to meet the needs of the business (including evenings and weekends)

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a Co/Assistant Manager in similar volume, apparel business (preferred)

• 2+ years as a Co/Assistant Manager in similar volume, apparel business
• Proven track record of exceeding sales and statistical expectations
