Assistant Store Manager

About This Role

This role primarily involves assisting the Store Manager with account management and sales, focusing on converting credit turn-down applications into Acima credit customers. It requires providing excellent customer service and collaborating with retail partners.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer growth through appropriate channels (web, partner stores, walk-ins)
• Identify and fulfill all customer needs in a timely manner
• Educate customers on Lease-To-Own terms, payment terms, benefits, and the application process
• Close sales by converting applications including in-store and web orders
• Work cooperatively with Acima partner stores in all operations aspects
• Report to and communicate with the Store Manager regarding store and coworker activities and performance
• Establish partnerships with retail store personnel to generate referrals and educate customers on the Lease-To-Own process
• Promptly address and resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain consistent customer satisfaction
• Cultivate a positive work environment to minimize coworker turnover and issues

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
• Organized, with time-management skills and the ability to multi-task
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Consistent in-person attendance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
