The Assistant Store Leader of Operations supports the Store Leader by overseeing all aspects of store operations, including guest service, sales goals, loss prevention, and merchandising. This role focuses on driving sales, optimizing operational efficiencies, and developing team talent within a fast-growing women's fashion brand.
Responsibilities
- Foster a guest-focused team environment by driving volume and anticipating guest needs
- Achieve excellent guest service by role-modeling company service standards
- Proactively provide timely feedback to associates, reward and recognize performance to drive retention
- Hold self and associates accountable for achievement of financial results and performance standards
- Manage conflict and coach by applying company’s recommended processes, standards and guidelines
- Develop associates through an individualized approach by matching talent with tasks, delegating, and challenging on results
- Lead by managing through change and adversity
- Consistently meet or exceed store and individual goals and contribute to the store’s overall goals
- Co-lead floor sets/refresh management
- Manage and oversee scheduling, back of house organization, and shipment/product prep process
- Audit and manage banking & loss prevention systems
- Train new associates on operational processes
- Responsible for decisions regarding store operations and planning
- Utilize and manage weekly reporting to track, analyze and communicate business results and determine strategies to maximize sales
- Partner with Visual District Leader and Visual Assistant Store Leader to oversee and manage visual merchandising
Requirements
- 1 year of Retail Management experience
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling and / or squatting frequently
- Ability to occasionally climb ladders, climb and descend stairs frequently
- Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 1 year Retail Management
