Assistant Property Manager

About This Role

The Assistant Property Manager develops customer relationships, meets sales goals, and maintains property conditions, contributing to a positive customer experience and efficient facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions.
• Interact face to face with customers, providing excellent service and building rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walk the property to perform lock checks and show units to customers.
• Rent self-storage spaces, sell store merchandise, and manage the leasing process.
• Accept payments utilizing a Point-of-Sale System (POS) and complete daily bank deposits.
• Make courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Clean units and the property, including mopping, sweeping, and changing light bulbs.
• Maintain facility to ensure conditions meet company guidelines, including restrooms, landscaping, and building exterior.
• Open and close storage doors (up to 50 lbs).

Requirements

• Ability to work Saturdays
• Valid driver’s license
• Insurance with access to reliable transportation used during the workday
• Ability to frequently stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder
