Assistant Property Manager

About This Role

This role involves managing and maintaining a self-storage property, balancing customer service responsibilities with property maintenance tasks. You will develop customer relationships while achieving sales goals, and ensure the facility's cleanliness and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions with 5-Star service
• Interact face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics
• Perform daily lock checks and show units to customers
• Rent self-storage spaces and sell store merchandise
• Manage the leasing process and accept payments utilizing a Point-of-Sale System (POS)
• Complete daily bank deposits and make courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments
• Walk the property daily, clean units and the property, and open/close storage doors (up to 50 lbs.)
• Maintain facility by mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, and cleaning out storage units
• Keep a clean and safe storage facility to ensure condition meets company guidelines

Requirements

• Ability to work Saturdays
• Valid driver’s license and insurance with access to reliable transportation used during the workday
• Ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder frequently
• Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market
• Basic computer skills
