This role involves performing X-ray testing and Medical Assistant duties at an urgent care center, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Operate diagnostic equipment and prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies
- Perform Medical Assistant duties
- Promptly greet patients and communicate wait times
- Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs, weight, history, medications, and allergies
- Assist with patient transfers and procedures directly supervised by the provider
- Perform timely radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician
- Perform necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams
- Ensure equipment is in proper working order and report malfunctions
- Maintain current licensure and certification for facility radiology equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

- ARRT Certification
- Experience as a Medical Assistant
