ARRT Radiology / Limited License X-Ray Technologist

About This Role

This role involves performing X-ray testing and Medical Assistant duties at an urgent care center, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Operate diagnostic equipment and prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies
• Perform Medical Assistant duties
• Promptly greet patients and communicate wait times
• Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs, weight, history, medications, and allergies
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures directly supervised by the provider
• Perform timely radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician
• Perform necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams
• Ensure equipment is in proper working order and report malfunctions
• Maintain current licensure and certification for facility radiology equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification
• AR State X-Ray License

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• ARRT Certification
• Experience as a Medical Assistant
