Protect the site's building, grounds, assets, employees, tenants, and visitors against criminal activity, accidents, and fires. This role involves controlling access, performing patrols, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for a critical military base infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Ensure only authorized individuals are allowed access to the site
- Monitor CCTV for safety and security concerns
- Patrol the interior and exterior of buildings on foot
- Patrol parking lots, roads, and building exteriors in a security vehicle
- Monitor fire alarms to ensure they are working accurately
- Provide excellent customer service
- Observe and report activities and incidents
- Guard posts such as lobbies, gates, and reception areas
- Respond to emergency situations
- Maintain regular communication with clients
Requirements
- Current, valid Concealed Pistol License or LEOSA certified
- Pass a drug screening (including for marijuana)
- At least 21 years old
- No felony convictions
- No misdemeanor convictions related to dishonesty, fraud, or impersonation of law enforcement
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent education certification, such as a GED
