Area Sales Manager

About This Role

This Area Sales Manager role is a key leadership position with significant commercial responsibility, focused on growing foodservice accounts and leading a sales team within the San Francisco Bay Area for a rapidly scaling meat and seafood distributor.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow key foodservice accounts across the San Francisco Bay Area
• Lead an initial team of approximately 3 to 5 sales professionals
• Recruit, develop and scale the team to 10+ as the territory grows
• Drive market penetration across restaurants, hotels, resorts and hospitality groups
• Work closely with senior leadership on strategy, pricing and expansion plans

Requirements

• Strong background in meat and/or seafood distribution
• Proven success selling into chefs, owners and buyers within HORECA
• Experience managing and growing sales teams
• A strong personal customer network in the Bay Area
• A hands-on, commercial mindset with the ability to lead from the front

Qualifications

• Experienced foodservice sales leader with a strong background in meat and/or seafood distribution, proven success selling into HORECA, and experience managing and growing sales teams.
