About This Role

This role involves accurately and timely processing accounts payable transactions for BoldAge and its affiliates, ensuring proper coding, approval, and compliance with internal controls. Additionally, the specialist will provide structured support to the Finance team during month-end close activities.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and upload vendor invoices and claims batches with proper documentation, ensuring accurate coding, approval routing, and compliance
  • Meet weekly deadlines for check processing
  • Comply with organizational methodology for naming conventions for invoice numbers and/or descriptions
  • Maintain vendor files, W-9s, and payment records in accordance with audit compliance and IRS standards
  • Respond timely to vendor inquiries professionally and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain organized records of invoices, approvals, due dates, and communications
  • Assist with AP accruals, ensuring expenses are recorded in the proper accounting period
  • Substantiate AP-related transactions by auditing invoices and supporting documentation
  • Set-up new utility vendors with ACH autopay and record on master utilities list
  • Assist in collection and verification of ACH information for vendors
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities as directed
  • Provide supporting documentation for the annual audit
  • Prepare basic analysis to support financial reporting (e.g., invoice trends, vendor spend analysis)

Requirements

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of accounts payable experience
  • Complete knowledge of office procedures and computer literacy required
  • Reliable transportation
  • Minimum state required liability auto insurance
  • Medically cleared for communicable diseases and all immunizations up to date

Qualifications

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of accounts payable experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience with month-end close support or general accounting tasks
