Account Manager

About This Role

Join White Cap's Accelerated Sales Program as an Account Manager to learn their business model and build customer relationships within the construction supply industry. This role focuses on developing sales skills and executing account plans for professional contractors.

Responsibilities

• Participate in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn White Cap’s business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills
• Prepare and execute account plans
• Sell White Cap value proposition and products
• Learn about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers
• Enter and process customer orders
• Operate a company vehicle or a personal vehicle consistently more than 80% of the average work week

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or one to two years of sales or related field experience
• Entry level, with 0-2 years of sales or related field experience
