About This Role

This Account Manager position is responsible for driving sales of Urgo Medical products in the Western Carolinas market. The role involves promoting products to hospitals, long-term care facilities, and home health agencies while fostering customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of Drawtex, Vashe, and Urgo Portfolio by utilizing solution-based and concept selling approaches
  • Promote products directly to hospitals, clinics, long-term care, and home health marketplaces
  • Manage all sales and support activities within the individual territory
  • Achieve sales targets through efficient and effective sales cycle and territory management
  • Maintain existing sales base while closing new business in both new and existing accounts
  • Set appointments with hospital staff and administrators
  • Educate customers on the benefits of products and provide product demonstrations and support
  • Communicate between sales, marketing, and support teams to improve customer experience
  • Input and maintain data in Salesforce.com
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders within accounts
  • Develop and execute sales strategies
  • Ensure all administrative tasks (training modules, expense reports, sales forecasts) are completed promptly and accurately
  • Travel within assigned territory up to 50% to provide customer-focused service and support business goals
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant sales experience with proven track record
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new information
  • Excellent sales skills
  • Personal and professional history of leadership, execution, and sales results
  • Ability to manage leads and customers within a defined territory
  • Experience with Salesforce.com input and maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a health science or marketing/business major
  • 2+ years of relevant sales experience with a proven track record
