This Account Manager role at USP Technologies involves assessing and applying company products to meet customer needs, preparing product specifications, and engaging in technical water treatment problem-solving for sales. The position focuses on retaining and growing accounts within an assigned territory in North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Assess potential application of company products to meet customer needs pre and/or post-sales
- Prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products, applications, and solutions
- Engage in technical water treatment problem-solving for customer sales
- Retain accounts within an existing territory as directed by the manager
- Communicate with the customer base and associates across USP Technologies
- Create, improve, and implement innovative sales strategies to drive USP’s position and increase market share
- Develop key relationships with customers by identifying decision makers, researching prospects, and cold calling
- Partner with senior staff members for strategic questioning and identifying customer needs
- Work with commercial team members to increase sales and profit margin within the territory
- Engage technical staff and management as needed to develop retention and growth strategies
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 3-5 years of experience interacting with customers at all levels of an organization
- Advanced level of MS Office
Qualifications
- High School Diploma. Bachelor of Science; Engineering or technical degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience interacting with customers at all levels of an organization.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor of Science; Engineering or technical degree
- Experience in water treatment
- Basic knowledge of CRMs (Salesforce preferred)
