Account Manager I

About This Role

The Account Manager I at USP Technologies assesses potential applications of company products, prepares product specifications, and solves technical water treatment problems for customers. This role drives sales and cultivates customer relationships within an assigned territory, contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, improve, and implement innovative sales strategies to drive USP’s position and increase market share within the assigned geography.
• Develop key relationships with customers by identifying decision makers, researching prospects, partnering with senior staff for cold calling, following up frequently, and implementing strategic questioning.
• Work with other members of the commercial team to increase sales and profit margin within the territory.
• Engage technical staff and management as needed to develop retention and growth strategies.
• Prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products, applications, and solutions.
• Communicate with the customer base and associates across USP Technologies.
• Assess potential application of company products to meet customer needs pre and/or post-sales.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 3-5 years of experience interacting with customers at all levels of an organization
• Advanced level of MS Office
• Basic knowledge of CRMs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma. Bachelor of Science; Engineering or technical degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience interacting with customers at all levels of an organization.
