Account Manager

About This Role

This role involves expanding GetBuddy's rescue partner network nationwide by conducting full-cycle sales activities, from outbound prospecting to closing new rescue partnerships. The Account Manager will help animal shelters transition from outdated systems to a modern Rescue Management System.

Responsibilities

• Outbound prospecting
• Identifying and reaching executive decision-makers
• Running structured, high-converting demos
• Handling objections related to switching systems and change management
• Closing partnership agreements
• Driving activation and successful onboarding
• Responding timely to issues from current partners
• Maintenance of relationship with partners

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in full-cycle sales or account management roles
• Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota
• Comfortable with outbound outreach and high activity levels
• Strong objection handling skills
• Disciplined pipeline management
• Thrives in early-stage, fast-moving environments
