Account Manager - Commercial HVAC

About This Role

Build and maintain client relationships in various markets to increase sales and profits for HVAC commercial services. Promote Mesa products and services including maintenance, repair, replacement, and energy efficiency solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new accounts through various methods including phone calls, visits, and attending conferences
• Introduce, develop, and maintain relationships with prospective clients, Chief Engineers, Property Managers, and Asset Managers
• Collaborate with Sales and Branch Managers to review and improve account programs and processes
• Manage through analysis and solution-based programs to maximize sales growth, volume, and profitability
• Prepare and deliver client presentations
• Develop, write, and review client proposal documents, including financial and technical sections
• Develop sales at defined margin levels to attain market share
• Communicate professionally with various internal departments such as Operations, chiller teams, and project management
• Attend product and sales training events and participate in professional training provided by EMCOR/Mesa
• Reach written, annual sales plans for non-maintenance, maintenance, and automation/controls sales

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in HVAC commercial service or a related field
• Relevant technical experience in Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance environment
• Strong customer presentation skills
• Sales aptitude
• Financial acumen, including cost modeling for sales proposals
• Independent decision making skills
• Strong computer skills using MS Office, particularly Excel
• Competitive nature and articulate communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a technical discipline
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC commercial service or a related field
