About This Role

The Account Manager is responsible for the business operations of an assigned client contracted service area, providing field support, managing client and contractor relationships, and ensuring high client satisfaction for City Wide Facility Solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of assigned client relationships, including client retention, expansion, and diversification of City Wide building solutions.
  • Formulate and manage an effective service strategy and schedule tailored to each client.
  • Negotiate and enter into agreements with clients for additional services, determining pricing, staffing, and logistics.
  • Manage all Contractor relationships, including interviewing, hiring, negotiating pricing and other contract terms, and managing agreements.
  • Ensure a standard of excellence in quality and client satisfaction through detailed quality control inspections and consistent follow-through.
  • Supervise and direct Night Managers to ensure client strategy execution and correct service performance.
  • Ensure adequate internal and external staffing needs to service clients.
  • Promote the sale of, procure, and monitor supplies for clients.
  • Effectively communicate all client issues with Contractors and the Director of Operations (DOO); promptly address any client issues or problems.
  • Use City Wide's CRM to perform client inspections, add extra charges, and manage NM routing.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales and management experience in building maintenance, facility management, or equivalent
  • High School diploma
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Excellent follow-through on commitments
  • Positive and outgoing personality
  • Excellent verbal and strong written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of CRM databases
  • Reliable transportation

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required, bachelor's degree highly desirable
  • Three to five+ years of sales and management experience in building maintenance, facility management, or equivalent.
