This role involves leading the World Class Opposing Force (WCOPFOR) team for the Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) Support Contract, focusing on planning and executing near-peer and peer threat scenarios during exercises. The Team Chief ensures effective WCOPFOR plans and execution to achieve commander's training objectives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise OPFOR personnel and organize resources to support MTCP exercises and associated JELC events
- Lead planning, preparation, and execution of assigned exercises
- Ensure effective WCOPFOR Plans & execution to achieve commander's training objectives
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance
- Former field grade officer
- Successfully served in a key developmental position at brigade/battalion level
- Current on all Army and Joint regulations and current doctrine
Nice to Have
- Served on Division/Corps chief of staff
- Retired colonel (O-6) equivalent or above
- School of Advance Military Studies (SAMS) graduate or equivalent
