Fires Collective Trainer with Security Clearance

About This Role

The Fires Collective Trainer will act as a Distributed Training Team (DTT) Subject Matter Expert in Fires to support live and constructive Mission Command training for the federal sector. This role involves maintaining current doctrine, developing training scenarios, and providing modular training support for various branches.

Responsibilities

• Support live and constructive Mission Command training
• Maintain currency with doctrine published by TRADOC and ensure Training Unit Cells (TUCs) receive the latest training OPORDs and Scenarios
• Maintain DTT flexibility in team member composition to provide modular training support requirements to various low density branches
• Work with the TUC to manipulate OPORDs or scenarios to meet unit needs and provide realistic training events
• Examine doctrine, plans, policies, and procedures to enhance the training environment

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• Previous senior Army leadership experience with a training management background
• Combat Arms, Combat Support, or Combat Service Support Officer with primary staff experience in a specific War Fighting Function at Battalion or higher level
• At least 6 years' combined staff experience within the specific Warfighting Function (or similar) OR 8 years' specialized MCTSP experience
• Recent experience working within the ARNG training support system, or a similar system
• 2 or more years working with Warfighting Functional Area Army MCIS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 6 years' combined staff experience within a specific Warfighting Function, or 8 years' specialized MCTSP experience in this type of duty position

Nice to Have

• CTC experience
• Previous Battalion or higher commander preferred (or similar)
