This role involves handling routine customer service inquiries through various channels, focusing on empathetic communication and problem-solving to assist customers with banking needs, while working remotely from a secure home office environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle routine customer service inquiries and problems via telephone, digital, or chat channels
- Demonstrate empathy with customer inquiries about reward redemptions, customer information updates, card activations, making payments, processing lost or stolen cards, statement and APR inquiries
- Process credit line increase and decrease requests
- Navigate a computerized system for responding and/or troubleshooting customer questions
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 1 year of customer service or call center experience
- Reside in AZ, DE, MD, NJ, OH, PA, or UT
- Secure home office environment free from background noise and distractions
- Reliable private internet connection not supplied via cellular data or hotspot
- Private network that is password protected
- Internet service provided by Cable or fiber Internet Service Providers (ISP)
- ISP speed on VPN must be at least 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- Hardwire ethernet connection is required
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 1 year of customer service or call center experience
