Senior Manager, Software Engineering, Full Stack (Global Payment Network)

About This Role

Lead, build, and mentor a team of full-stack software engineers in the Global Payment Network, creating solutions that meet regulatory needs and drive financial empowerment for millions of Americans using emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers
• Share passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies
• Participate in internal & external technology communities
• Mentor other members of the engineering community
• Code or evaluate code from time to time
• Collaborate with digital product managers
• Deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering (excluding internship)
• 1+ year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• 4+ years of people management experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering, and at least 4 years of people management experience

Nice to Have

• Master’s Degree
• 9+ years of experience in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
• 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
• 7+ years of people management experience
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
