Warehouse Supervisor

About This Role

Supervise warehouse team members and support the Warehouse Manager to ensure efficient operations within shipping, meeting company and distribution center standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and coordinate daily activities for the warehouse within shipping operations
• Effectively forecast volume, staffing, and supply needs to meet productivity and expense budgets
• Walk the warehouse to ensure building conditions are maintained
• Identify potential safety hazards and correct them as necessary
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with the warehouse team and supply chain
• Develop productive associates through training and coaching

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations
• Working knowledge of government regulations regarding warehouse operations
• Strong leadership and engagement skills
• Experience implementing process improvements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the distribution industry
