Voice Engineer III

About This Role

Serve as a Senior Voice Engineer responsible for identifying and resolving performance issues, troubleshooting, repairing, configuring, monitoring, and upgrading unclassified and classified network systems. Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Cisco Unified Communications technologies on-site at Scott Air Force Base.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve performance issues on unclassified and classified network systems
• Troubleshoot, repair/replace, configure, monitor, and upgrade network systems
• Implement and provide technical support for Cisco Unified Communications related technologies
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support of existing systems
• Provide installation, transition, and cutover of system components
• Perform all maintenance and documentation of ground equipment and systems on a scheduled and unscheduled basis
• Conduct testing and integration of systems
• Gather trend analysis data on systems and provide input for resource planning
• Provide real-time usable statistics to aid with troubleshooting
• Perform upgrades to all supported VoIP / UC systems
• Monitor Managed Services UC customers via 3rd party network monitoring software
• Review work/installation progress for accuracy, adherence to network design, and conformance to telecommunications standards

Requirements

• 5+ years as a Cisco Voice Engineer
• CUCM/Unified Communications experience
• Cisco Unity experience
• UCCX Scripting experience
• Routing/Switching experience
• Secret clearance

• BA/BS
• 5+ years as a Cisco Voice Engineer
