Computer Operator

About This Role

Maintain operating records and perform routine computer processing functions to ensure accuracy and timely completion. Provide customer support, monitor console and online systems for a 24/7 hosting operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain necessary operating records, check lists, and procedures to ensure accuracy and completion of functions
• Utilize scripted instructions to perform routine processing functions to meet deadlines or standards
• Provide support to customers and internal users in a courteous and professional manner
• Monitor the console and other online systems
• Respond with appropriate actions and escalation
• Follow established guidelines to ensure security of data and computer systems
• Complete the shift turnover log for the next shift and review the shift turnover log from the previous shift
• Contact the Operations Unit Manager for assistance as needed
• Manage a Windows Server environment
