Provide 1:1 sign language interpreting services for a kindergarten student in an elementary school setting, ensuring clear communication and accessibility for the young learner. Adapt interpreting methods for telehealth environments and collaborate with educational staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 Sign Language Interpreting services for a kindergarten student
• Facilitate clear and accurate communication between the student, teachers, and peers
• Adapt interpreting methods to telehealth and teletherapy environments as needed
• Collaborate with educational staff to support the students learning experience
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

Requirements

• Proficiency as a Sign Language Interpreter with experience in educational settings
• Ability to work effectively in telehealth and teletherapy formats
• Strong understanding of early childhood communication needs
• Experience providing 1:1 interpreting services for young children, especially in kindergarten
