This role supports students' academic and emotional growth by providing comprehensive psychological services to identify and address learning and behavioral challenges. This position involves occasional travel between schools, offering a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services for students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
- Utilize data to inform interventions and monitor progress over time
Requirements
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
Nice to Have
- Experience conducting assessments and delivering intervention plans in school settings
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to multiple school locations as needed
