This contract position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services to K-12 students in a school setting. The role involves conducting evaluations, delivering treatments, collaborating with educational teams, and supporting student communication development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and treatments tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide teletherapy services to maximize accessibility and support
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with applicable regulations and standards
- Participate actively in meetings, consultations, and professional development sessions
Requirements
- Valid SLP credential with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience as a speech-language pathologist in school environments
- Comfort working with pediatric populations, including students with diverse speech and language needs
Qualifications
- Experience as a speech-language pathologist in school environments, comfort working with pediatric populations
Nice to Have
- Completion or near completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Skilled in teletherapy delivery of speech services
- Experience within healthcare settings
