UX Researcher

About This Role

This is a hands-on, research-focused UX Researcher role responsible for owning end-to-end UX research projects, with a strong emphasis on usability testing and mixed-methods research, within product teams supporting complex financial and operational digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to deepen understanding of user needs, pain points, and behaviors
• Serve as a trusted advocate for user perspectives
• Recommend appropriate research methodologies based on stakeholder goals
• Identify new research opportunities that drive product value
• Run research projects from planning to recruiting, fieldwork, analysis, and insights
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, heavily focused on usability testing
• Create clear, actionable research deliverables like research plans, moderator guides, insight summaries, and stakeholder reports
• Present findings in a compelling, actionable manner
• Maintain and recruit internal and external participant panels

Requirements

• 2+ years owning end-to-end UX research (planning → fielding → analysis → insights)
• Extensive usability testing experience
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills
• Ability to synthesize insights and tell compelling research stories
• Excellent communication and stakeholder consulting skills
• Financial services / fintech industry UX research experience

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Human Factors, Social Sciences, or related fields preferred, or Bachelor's with substantial hands-on UX research experience
• 2+ years of formal UX research experience, owning end-to-end UX research
