UPK Pre-K (3's) Teacher

About This Role

As a Universal Pre-K Teacher, you will create a nurturing environment for 3- and 4-year-old children, designing and implementing a curriculum that prepares them for kindergarten. This role involves open communication with parents and maintaining a safe classroom.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging, hands-on activities designed to cater to children's interests and promote kindergarten readiness
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines

Requirements

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for 4- and 5-year-old children

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred

Nice to Have

• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings
