About This Role

This role involves creating hands-on activities, ensuring classroom safety, and maintaining open communication with parents while fostering a safe, nurturing environment for children's growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
• Passage of required state and company background checks
• Meeting state and company minimum education and experience requirements
• 12 Child Development units completed: Child Development, Child, Family, and Community, Introduction to Curriculum, and Principles and Practices
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred.
