About This Role

This role is for a Child Care Teacher specializing in toddlers at Bright Horizons, where you will create engaging, hands-on activities and maintain open communication with parents. The position focuses on providing a safe, nurturing, and clean classroom environment to support children's overall development.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines

Requirements

• 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred

Nice to Have

• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field
• State-qualifications for ECE Teacher (12+ credit hours, CDA, 6 months experience in a licensed facility, etc.)
