Universal Banker

About This Role

Serve as a Universal Banker, providing exceptional customer experiences by engaging clients with financial services and processing various transactions. This role focuses on understanding customer needs and promoting digital banking alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall branch client experience, proactively engaging existing and prospective clients
• Maintain and sell financial services to clientele by addressing long-term and short-term goals through profiling
• Actively sell financial products and services, including processing applications and closing consumer credit products
• Identify and secure new high and/or potentially high value consumer clients, managing calling efforts, referrals, sales tracking, and prospecting
• Keep informed of current bank policies, procedures, federal laws, regulations, and maintains strong knowledge of all new products, programs and sales promotions

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent work experience
• Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (within 30 days of employment)
• 2+ years experience in consumer sales, marketing and customer service
• 2+ years of teller experience
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as assigned
• Ability to provide own transportation and commute to intended destination in a timely manner
• Ability to push/lift 30 lbs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D, or equivalent related work experience
• 2+ years of experience in consumer sales, marketing and customer service, including 2+ years of teller experience.
