The Treatment Specialist 2 is responsible for developing, implementing, evaluating, and coordinating all treatment programming, specifically Substance Use Disorder (SUD) programs, for Persons in Our Care (PIOCs) within the Earned Release Program (ERP) PIOC, to support their successful rehabilitation and reintegration.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, evaluate, and coordinate all treatment programming, including Substance Use Disorder (SUD) programming for the Earned Release Program (ERP) PIOC
- Identify the nature and cause of client’s problem(s) and incapacities as they relate to substances, social, vocational, and leisure time functioning based on their risk and need
- Formulate treatment delivery plans that implement enrollment into the SUD/ERP program
- Provide treatment programing in line with approved curriculum in collaboration with the SUD Clinical Supervisor
- Refer Persons in Our Care (PIOCs) to appropriate resources within the institution as needed
Requirements
- Current Substance Abuse Counselor Credential Issued By The Wisconsin Department Of Safety And Professional Services
