About This Role

Provide religious and spiritual services, instruction, and guidance in an interfaith manner to individuals with intellectual disabilities at the Southern Wisconsin Center (SWC).

Responsibilities

• Provide religious/spiritual services to people supported by SWC in an interfaith manner
• Provide regularly scheduled services, instruction, and guidance for individuals with intellectual disabilities

Requirements

• Documentation or a letter of endorsement from an authority representing a faith community
• Experience administering religious/spiritual programs including interfaith services and study groups (e.g., scheduling, coordinating staff/volunteers and resources, record keeping, etc.)

Nice to Have

• Experience adapting services to meet the needs of those with physical and/or intellectual disabilities
• Experience providing pastoral/spiritual ministry/support to individuals or families who may be in distress or crisis including end of life support
• Experience structuring interfaith religious study curriculum for varying levels of comprehension
