Traveling Superintendent

About This Role

Lead field operations for industrial tilt-wall and ground-up construction projects across the U.S., ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and quality standards are met while coordinating with various project stakeholders. This role involves extensive travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations for industrial tilt-wall and ground-up construction projects
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, site personnel, vendors, and logistics to meet project goals
• Develop and maintain project schedules, including lookaheads and milestone tracking
• Manage tilt-wall panel installation sequencing, bracing, crane coordination, and safety planning
• Enforce site safety standards and compliance with OSHA and company policies
• Review construction drawings and specifications to provide field constructability insight
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, and field teams to resolve issues proactively
• Ensure daily reporting and documentation (daily logs, photos, RFIs, subcontractor performance)
• Drive quality control and punch list close-out activities
• Communicate progress, risks, and field challenges to senior leadership and project stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience on industrial or commercial construction projects
• Proven tilt-wall experience including panel placement, bracing, and coordination with structural scopes
• Strong leadership and team management skills on large, multi-site projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency with field reporting and construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively for project assignments

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience on industrial or commercial construction projects
