Join a growing team in Chicago as a Construction Estimator, responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, bid proposals, and budgets for commercial, industrial, or general contracting projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor scopes
• Analyze plans, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate bids
• Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and clients to ensure estimates reflect project goals
• Maintain a database of historical costs, unit pricing, and vendor information
• Track bid results and provide post-bid analysis for continuous improvement

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of construction estimating experience
• Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar)
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities
• Effective communication and negotiation skills

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of construction estimating experience, preferably in commercial, industrial, or general contracting
