Travel Telemetry RN

About This Role

This travel nursing opportunity in Reidsville, NC, invites experienced Registered Nurses skilled in Med Surg, Telemetry, and Tele health settings to provide specialized inpatient care. You will support a diverse patient population, including stroke (neuro) patients, in a fast-paced environment requiring strong clinical expertise and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients with multiple co-morbidities, including stroke patients
• Utilize telemetry remote monitoring and on-unit patient assessment
• Perform feeding tube care, port accessing, and manage various lines including central, peripheral, and PICC
• Administer blood products and manage wound care including wound vacs
• Observe isolation precautions and care for patients requiring oxygen support such as nasal cannula
• Float between healthcare facilities within the network as needed
• Adhere to a 1:5 to 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio with precision and attention to patient safety

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience
• BLS certification
• NIH certification
• Telemetry experience with remote monitoring
• Proficiency in IV starts and comprehensive line management

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience

Nice to Have

• EPIC experience
• Previous on-unit telemetry experience
• Experience in stroke and neuro patient care
