Transportation Commercial Lines Growth Manager

About This Role

This role will drive significant growth within the Transportation Commercial Lines sector by developing and implementing growth strategies, cultivating new client relationships, and managing existing client accounts. The Manager will also lead and develop client advisors, mentor producers, and contribute to operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage team leaders and client advisors, supporting their development and growth goals
• Oversee full cycle hiring decisions, coaching, performance management, promotions, and terminations in conjunction with Human Resources
• Collaborate with the Director of Growth to implement comprehensive growth strategies for the Commercial Lines sector
• Identify and prioritize growth opportunities aligned with organizational objectives
• Prospect, identify, and cultivate new client relationships within the industry
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape
• Execute strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets and drive production growth within the region
• Support process optimization, automation, and streamlining through technology integration
• Work with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, operations, and human resources

Requirements

• Active P&C license
• In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and employee motivation techniques
• Experience supporting business development lifecycle
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the insurance and/or financial services industries
• Excellent leadership and coaching ability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent insurance experience
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the insurance and/or financial services industries
