Act as the first line of support for daily transport activities, collaborating with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth workflows and high service standards within the transport center. This role involves assisting with delivery scheduling, transport planning, cross-dock operations, and managing claims processes.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first line of support for daily transport activities
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve issues and maintain smooth workflows and high service standards
- Assist with delivery scheduling, transport planning, cross-dock operations, and stakeholder communication for changes and updates
- Manage claims processes and handle transport documentation
- Collaborate with external partners to resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and new projects by identifying inefficiencies and supporting implementation
- Monitor and maintain operational KPIs, analyzing performance trends and contributing to improvement plans
- Prepare daily and weekly operational reports, including on-time performance, VAT reports, and inventory balance summaries
- Administer transport systems and tools, ensuring accurate data entry, system functionality, and timely resolution of issues
- Perform regular system and data maintenance, including cleaning up historical records and updating statuses
Requirements
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Experience in transport operations (planning, claims management, system administration)
- Attention to detail for data accuracy
- Problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Proactive and solution-focused mindset
- Familiarity with varying transport management systems and tools
