Therapist PRN

About This Role

This role involves providing direct clinical services as a Therapist, including assessments, interventions, treatment planning, and individual, family, and group therapy to support long-term wellness for patients facing mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services in accordance with accepted standards of social/work clinical practice
• Plan and conduct individual, family, and/or group therapy as assigned
• Conduct, assess, and interpret completion of Comprehensive Integrated Assessment
• Review all Multidisciplinary assessments and compile a Multidisciplinary Treatment Plan under physician supervision
• Perform case management and discharge planning
• Attend multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and provide patient progress updates
• Deliver patient services ethically, promoting respect and enhancing dignity and satisfaction
• Assess and interpret age/disability/cultural needs; Identify safety, psychosocial, special mobility, and special equipment needs
• Conduct treatment and discharge planning in accordance with age/disability/cultural needs
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

• Clinical Social Worker (CSW), LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LPC-A (TX Only) or Psychologist
• 0 to 1 year post-graduate experience in clinical practice
• Knowledge of principles of growth and development appropriate to patient population
• Knowledge of mental illness and chemical dependency and family dynamics
• Basic knowledge of chronic mental illness
• In-depth knowledge of clinical therapy modalities
• Excellent communication and group/process skills
• Assessment, intervention, treatment and discharge planning skills
• Ability to complete CPR certification and an Oceans approved behavioral de-escalation program
